In 2009, fresh out of college, Pratik Arora created India’s first ever web-series. With a storyline and characters and all that. The show was called Company Bahadur. FIRST EVER! Can you believe that? To put things in perspective, here’s a timeline thingie -

1913 – Raja Harishchandra by Dadasaheb Phalke, India’s first silent feature film.
1931 – Alam Ara by Ardeshir Irani, India’s first feature film with sound.
1937 – Kisan Kanya by Ardeshir Irani, India’s first feature film in colour.
1984 – Hum Log by Manohar Shyam Joshi/P. Kumar Vasudev, India’s first TV show.
2009 - Company Bahadur by Pratik Arora, India’s first web-series.

Boom! We just want you to be impressed. Are you impressed? Are you? Seriously, are you?

Anyway, Company Bahadur’s first season of 18 episodes ran for two years (with a little help from a lot of good people) from October 16, 2009 to September 20, 2011 . You can watch the show here.

With Company Bahadur, CultCamp was also born with the mission to make more awesome sauce content. We regularly upload original comedy sketches to our YouTube channel and are working on two more original shows. So yeah.
